Family Dinner

Serving the Greater Community

The Family Dinner is a year-round program that aims to make an impact on food insecurity in DuPage County.

Our Family Dinner is a free meal provided every third Thursday of each month, to anyone in the community. Each month consists of a catered meal and a speaker from a local organization. A food pantry is also available each month, courtesy of our partnership with The Salvation Army of Oakbrook Terrace.

Participants do not need to be on food stamps or qualify for government assistance in order to come to the meal. The meal is open to anyone, whether you just want a free meal, are looking for community, or want to enjoy a frugal family night out. Our event is kid and family friendly. The meal begins at 5:00pm in the gymnasium of the Salvation Army.

RSVPs for each meal are encouraged in order for food planning. You can also sign up to receive reminder emails below. Check out our Calendar page for the dates of each monthly dinner.
